Privacy policy
Effective 24 August 2026
The short version
Later Save is a personal inbox. Saves, collections, labels and settings stay on your iPhone. There is no Later Save account, no advertising SDK, and no behavioural tracking. We do not operate a server that stores your saves.
Data you enter
The app stores, on your device, the titles, notes, URLs, photos, collections, labels and settings you create. The iOS Share Extension writes into the same on-device App Group so a save from Instagram, Safari or Photos can appear in Inbox. This data is used only to show you your inbox. It is not uploaded to a Later Save server.
Link previews
When you save a link, Later Save may request that page over HTTPS so it can show a title and preview image instead of a raw URL. That request goes to the site you saved, not to us. If the page cannot be reached, the app uses a short fallback title such as “Instagram post”.
Photos and camera
If you save a picture from Camera Roll or take one in the app, iOS asks for photo library or camera access. Those images stay in the app’s local store. Later Save does not upload them.
Notifications, accounts and purchases
Later Save does not send push notifications, does not create accounts, and has no in-app purchases.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers. Saves stay until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting the app removes the local store, including the App Group inbox.
Children’s privacy
Later Save is a personal organiser and is not directed to children. It does not ask anyone to create an account or submit information to us.
Your choices
- Edit or delete saves inside the app.
- Turn Instant Save on or off in Settings. That preference stays on the device.
- Remove locally stored data by deleting the app.
